Pets with special needs or medical conditions…

We understand that some pets have special needs. Our staff and veterinarians are prepared to do whatever is necessary to make their stay enjoyable. Please feel free to bring a few personal belongings to stay with your pet such as a small blanket or toy. During their stay we offer Hill’s Science Diet dry maintenance diets. If you prefer not to change diets, we will welcome their own food and treats from home and we are happy to follow your feeding instructions. In addition, Sunset Veterinary Clinic is able to accommodate any furry friends who require medications such as insulin. For these guests, we will evaluate their needs and have our veterinarians develop a treatment plan for their stay. Some medical requirements (such as injections) may incur at a nominal fee.

Our veterinary clinic requirements…

In our efforts to provide a safe and illness free environment, all pets who stay at Sunset Veterinary Clinic must have current medical records and certain required vaccinations. They will also need to be free from parasites, including fleas. Please review our Boarding Consent Form for more information regarding our policies pertaining to vaccinations, external parasite control, medical treatment, and checking in and out.
