History meets luxury in one of the most talked about hotels in Oklahoma City. The Skirvin Hilton has been a landmark hotel in OKC for more than a century. In 2007, the Skirvin was architecturally restored to ensure that it remains a staple of the Oklahoma City landscape.
Pet Policy: “We have a special Pampered Pooch package your four-legged friend will be wagging about for days. For $20, your pooch will get an assortment of bite-sized treats and dog biscuits, bowls on loan for water and food, an in-room pet pillow, and directions to dog-friendly parks in the area.
We just ask that your critters don’t exceed our 60-pound weight limit. We also charge a non-refundable $50 pet deposit that lets us thoroughly clean the room of pet hair and dander for our future guests.”
The Oklahoma City Renaissance Convention Center Hotel is just steps away from several downtown Oklahoma City attractions, including the Bricktown Entertainment District. Experience culinary refinement at 10 North Grille (the hotel’s restaurant), and then head over to The Bar at 10 North for one of the most extensive scotch selections in the city.

The Aloft Oklahoma City Downtown-Bricktown is a modern and bold loft-inspired hotel located in the heart of the entertainment district. You will be minutes away from all the restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife that Bricktown has to offer. If you’re looking for smoke-free rooms, this is your spot. All guest rooms at the Aloft are 100% smoke-free.
Pet Policy: “Bring along your furry friend. Our pet-friendly program provides toys, treats, and an Aloft dog bed and bowl. *If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.”
If you’re looking to get out of the downtown Oklahoma City area for awhile, the Ambassador Hotel might be your best choice. Located in the ever-popular Midtown neighborhood, the Ambassador Hotel is historically elegant yet completely modern. The hotel has preserved and celebrated its property’s historic legacies by retaining its 1920s era Art Deco architecture and charm. And don’t miss the popular rooftop bar for one of the best views of the Oklahoma City skyline (pictured above).

The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel is the metro’s largest business and convention hotel. Much like the other hotels mentioned, the Sheraton is located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City and is just two blocks away from the legendary nightlife of Bricktown, and two blocks away from the home of the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Sheraton prides themselves on their signature amenities, from their Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed to their fully equipped fitness center.
Pet Policy: “The hotel accepts one dog no bigger than 40 lbs. Waiver must be signed at check-in with emergency contact information and numbers. Dog must be with you or a designated individual at all times and cannot be left unattended in a guest room. Dogs are not allowed in food and beverage outlets, including pool areas. Dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier while in public areas. Pets are only allowed in standard guest rooms. During your stay, room cleaning must be scheduled in advance for a time when the dog is not in the room.”

Rounding out our list is Homewood Suites by Hilton, one of the best spots to stay in the popular Bricktown district. Overlooking Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark (be sure to check the OKC Dodgers schedule if you want to catch a game), Homewood Suites is an extended-stay hotel close to museums, art galleries, shops, restaurants, music venues, nightclubs, and an IMAX movie theatre.
